I'm definately an enjoyer of all things tasty. I eat meat, veggies, veggies wrapped in meat, etc. Eat what makes you feel good.
Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.Comment

I'm no vegan or vegetarian but I'm allergic to every normal carb (wheat, rye, barley, oats) so that is harder than vegan or vegi.
Meat is so great. A nice fillet or lamb chops with a big glass of milk and a twice baked potatoe makes my day.Comment

While I appreciate the reasons behind being a vegetarian, I'm a MUCH bigger fan of a well balanced diet. Fruits and vegetables are the most crucial part to that (simply because it's what most people tend to forget when cooking a meal). I think meat is fantastic, but so is everything else. Everything in the right portions is the absolute best way to go in my mind.
A few years ago I would eat a 5 lb bag of chicken breast in 2 day, 10-12 egg whites a day, and other various sources of protein each day as well. TONS of good carbs as well. Now I was doing that for a specific purpose (body building), but I would never ever do that again. If that's a profession you're pursuing then great. But I've never felt as good/healthy all around as I do when I keep everything in properly moderated proportions.
My big hesitancy with not eating meat is because of what you get from it. It's VERY hard to get a complete protein without it. A big issue with meat, however, is that it's much much harder for your body to break down. Only eggs are easy for your body and also have some added benefits that most meat doesn't (except for salmon). I tend to stick with mostly chicken because it's so low in fat (and cause I prefer it).
I tend to have a much bigger issue with what kind of carbs people eat than with whether or not they eat meat.Autobahn Sport - ***503.715.0044*** - "ABS BMW Parts" on AIM

I cut red meat out of my diet. Porks, steak, hamburger, ham, bacon, etc etc.
I still eat lean meats, chicken, seafood, turkey.
I also switched to all organic foods from trader joes and dont eat anything with HFCS in it anymore, my diet is really well balanced now with lots of fruits/veggies/lean meats. and plenty of soy/flax products.
As a result of my diet change I've lost about 15lbs in the last month and a half without changing anything but the type of food im eating. Im not even exercising.Comment

I am anti processed grain(White Flour/Processed Oats/etc.). I enjoy sprouted grain breads, and take the buns off when I get a burger. The crappy flour we all consume does nothing but coat the intestinal lining in a gloopy glue like substance that prevents the proper uptake of nutrients from food. I also take a daily liquid vitamin supplement.Comment

Same here. I also quit drinking milk, and switched to Almond Milk. I swear I'll never drink regular milk again now. Something about it grosses me out.tasty

Have not tried the almond milk. I do only rock out with the Silk though, no lactose filled milk for me.Comment

Gotta love those fast food joints pushing extra large soda's along with their deep fried fries and white bread buns! Mmmm... insulin spike to make sure we store ALL of that fatty goodness. Ha ha!
