Well, I probably saw you at one of the picnics and didn't know who you were. I never got to meet you, but I remember PM'ing you a long ass time ago asking you some noob question, and you responded kindly.
So good riddance and good luck. I'm sure you'll love it.
Good luck with the move down south Kruzen. At least you have your girlfreind going along.

KRUZEN, Welcome to Cali
Exactly, minus the fat, the ugly, and the ghey. And, I don't know why your jumping down my throat, I didn't say anything wrong. So, your in the wrong for being so rude to me when I was just letting a fellow r3v'er know he would be closer to you BMW technicians.

how much are your quotes for kruzen. Ive delivered cars to cali before lots of times, I just fly back when im done.
Low end, 675, high end. 850.
Most places seem to say they will do 600'ish for standard and 800 for expedited.
That all depends on how quickly we can get parts from patrick and get the car thrown together :)
My start date is OCtober 13th now, actually. So I'm gonna have to bust ass on this thing with you guys. I may end up driving it down if it comes down to the line.
What is all is wrong with the car? I may be down for a late night or Sunday or two.
from my email to James:
Things I know need to be fixed:
New clutch (throwout bearing is making lovely noises)
Rear subframe bushings
Parts I have:
Sway links front/back
Things that could use replacing/checkup
Belts/hoses.
Fluids (transmission, mostly)
Lock actuators, not necessary, but would be handy to replace since my
keyless entry doesn't work anymore
motor/tranny mounts?
Problems I'm having:
Car seems to be getting pretty hot lately when driving around town.
I'm not sure if I need some new radiator fluid or if I need to change
the oil (its about that time again) but yesterday the temps climbed to
about 3/4 and once I turned the heat onto full blast it brought it
down to half and then once I got on the free way it dropped to a
quarter before settling at 1/2 again. The thermostat was replaced when
I did my timing belt about a year and a half ago so i'm not too
worried it.
Clutch slips (clunk clunk clunk) when the car is getting alot of low
speed clutch usage and its hot out. I'm assuming this is the clutch
issue.
Heating issues seem to be resolved when I put in some fresh coolant.
