    A new pup.

So yesterday, I bought a Husky-German Shepherd mix from this bastard out in the country. He was COVERED in fleas and flea dirt. First thing I did was give him a good bath and put some flea repellent on him until we could get to the vet today. He went to the vet today, had a fecal which came back with intestinal worms. He got a dose of de-wormer and some advantix for the fleas as well as a parvo vaccine. He also has ringworm in 2 spots and has got some ointment for that.

I present you with Brennenhund, or Bren for short. He's 9 weeks old.

Adorable pup! It's a shame that some people are such idiots. My dad is a vet, and he sees stuff like that far too often.

I hope you have room for him to run - Huskies are crazy. I had one as a kid - my dad has about two acres around their house fenced, and he still loved to jump out and visit the neighbors dogs.

Good your fixing him up. People that do that shit to dogs piss me off.

My buddys grandma when I was little lived out in he country, and I remember on several occasions she would find boxes of puppies in ditches on county roads.

Yep. One of my other dogs was rescued off of a country highway. He has a shattered larynx and has buckshot in his shoulders and hips. People suck.

Glad to see a neglected dog going to a good home. Based on what you've addressed since picking him up, I'd say he's going to be just fine

What a badass looking little pup. Did this d-bag have anymore pups? Hope not. That dog is so lucky he ended up with you. Think of what a horrible life he would have had, or lack of life.

Post up some more pics of him!

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

I found my older cat outside of my dad's office during an ice storm, soaked, freezing and emaciated. Someone had just dumped her there. If I hadn't happened to have dropped by to help him with a software upgrade, no one would have found her that night and she probably wouldn't have made it. People have an incredible capacity to suck. :(

You're top notch for giving him the care he so desperately needed. He's gorgeous!

It's sick to see people who treat animals (any animals) like that. Their defenseless, so what the hell can they do about it? Countless people shouldn't be allowed to own animals like the one you found. Very honorable of you to rescue that dog, the next dog I get will be from a local shelter/humane society.
