    Prez Debate... Ongoing commentary

So, did you hear McCain say this isn't the beginning of the end of the end of the problem if we pass the bailout, but the end of the beginning. He looked like he was pissed at the telepropmter...

McCain should have reconsidered making it out to this one, he's not doing particularly well out there.

Obama's main flaw is that he seems like the quintessential "yes man." Everything he proposes sounds so glorious and great, I still wonder what things will be like when he is elected, (note I did not say "if he is elected.")

I'm not impressed with either of them right now. But it does look very good on my new HDTV. Maybe I'll watch it on mute......

wish McCain would cancel everything and trained for a week for this debate.

                Seriously, he needs practice.

On the other hand, the man with hopes that haven't been boiled out of him by Washington crowd, looked like a generic Washington politician. Weird.

When is that? I wasn't even aware they had that. It should be interesting to hear Biden go head-to-head with Mrs. words-has-fail-me.

i felt mccains preceived strength on foriegn affaris was dated, still more cold war focused strategy and his economic responses fell very short of obama, he complete refused to acknowledge obamas directness about mcCains tax policy and mccain did not look very good for that part.

the few areas where mccaim might be personally stronger palin drags him down where as biden more then makes up for obamas weaknesses.. maybe in past elecetion the vp was less important but bush and cheney have changed the roles of these positions, cheney is by far more involved in policy and govt function then past vp's and palin is far from capable of taking on those duties.

i cant wait for the bludgening biden is going to give palin. i hope she has to pay for her own rape kit after that assualt.

yes, as soon as FDR gets on TV and Lincoln calls congress over telephone.

Biden is well known to open his mouth when not supposed to and put foot in it. This maybe the comic relief-package of what we saw tonight. A humorous bail-out, if you will.
