Ok, so you get pulled for 5 over, this video will prevent your rights from being compromised during the trafic stop.

5 over on a CA highway, they can pull you over. On a highway, they can pull you over for 1 MPH higher than the sign says, though most dont. Your average street is different, though. So dont speed, or be willing to get the ticket ;)

I've only watched the first 8 minutes.. but from personal experience I've had much better encounters with police officers when I cooperated with them and told them the honest truth, they respect that and they will treat you with respect. I've been let off 3 times doing that. I dont know of anyone whose the played I know my rights card on a cop and have had similar luck.

All that stuff should be common knowledge. I'm always blown away by people on cops when they consent to a search and have drugs or what have you just laying around.

Also, that chick in the house, christ, that was a good chunk of pot to have laying around.

I know when we were underage and having a house party, we would just not answer the door when cops come. They would sit around for an hour or so running plates, then just leave.

Being polite and respectful has never served me wrong. Like what right do I have to get shitty, I wouldn't have gotten pulled over if I wasn't breaking the law.
