Cause only idiots get harvard law degrees? We already know any idiot can get a regular harvard degree when your dad is the president. There are a lot of anti obama people on this forum. I can understand being pro McCain, but that does not mean you have to be anti Obama. Maybe r3v needs a "whites only" entrance.

Never said I was anti-anything, this is a stupid thread, I was countering with an equally stupid comment. I love internet people who claim to be so damn smart because someone on tv makes a mistake or can't answer every answer thrown at them. You go do it and look smart, if you can do it you'll be a great president. Both sides want you to panic and believe that one politician is going to ruin this country, Sorry to the doom's sayers but I think we'll end up fine who ever ends being the president.

Not if your from the south or east of the Mississippi. All it takes is one drop of "black" blood to taint a person in the eyes of so many of our older voters who are set in their ways. But i digress.

The only time I care about his color is when people defend him for it. You can't defend what wasn't offended.

The fact that some people won't vote for him because of the color of his skin, is different from many people not voting for him because they fundamentaly disagree with what we think he stands for.

Honestly, from everything I've heard him say, I believe that he stands for flowers and butterflies, bunnies and teddy bears. It all sounds good, then you ask yourself a question. What has he done? What has he changed? Who are his mentors? I would vote with my party for him, but I can't bring myself to vote for a person who's neither yea or nay on nearly everything.

I think he's tip toeing as much as possible to appeal to as broad of an audience as possible. Voting him because he is black would be a dumb idea. How about voting for him cause your a democrat? What that be just as senseless? McCain just seems to eager to try and do whatever it takes to get the "look at me" vote. I've always felt going negative and using circus tricks for votes shows that you don't have a strong platform.

I actually will have to disagree with you. McCain's bag of tricks was always running as an underdog. He spent little on campaigns, collected little money. He runs on the "Straigh-Talk Express" bus. He conducts his campaign town hall to town hall.

Obama, to me, is the guy who comes off as Hollywood. Campaign seal on the plane, going to see troops for the camera. Bronco's stadium with fireworks. Just looks surreal. He runs the wealthiest campaign, possibly, EVER. I don't dislike him fofr it, I think if he could back all that hype up, I'd be impressed. You know, Bond, James bond.

I think democrats are more inclined to donate funds and buy campaign memorabilia because its historic precedence, and because they feel he needs to run a top shelf campaign so that he can show he's not just some novelty and that he is running a serious ballz out campaign. He has got to run a blitz on every play with out any foul play or else he would be in serious jeopardy. We like to think we have moved past segregation and that every one has an equal opportunity but we don't. I think the biggest difference between now and the 60's is back then people would have told you straight to your face that they are against you based on your physical appearance. I'm amazed by the things i overhear in this so called relaxed and accepting city called Los Angeles. There are just as many racist and bigots here as the rest of the country. They just hide it better.
