He had so many counts against him. Obviously their will be an appeal and another appeal and another. I think you get 3? or something like that. Most people don't commit crimes while they're being recorded like a moron. Also why did he feel the need to go there himself? You're supposed to send out the idiots to do the dirty work, not be the idiot.

On the bright side he can write new chapters for his book and it will be a great twist in the plot. I mean who would have thought, right? I hope some exciting stuff happens while he's in prison. He's seriously going to have an amazing biography! I'd love to see an OJ movie, I mean he used to be an amazing actor too. Remember all his great roles?

I can remember watching some shows though about people on Death Row and they only got a certain amount? Maybe Death Row is different?

Depends on where your case started, if it a local ( county/city ) matter you will then go to a local superior court, next up is State, and then you fall into Fed territory, start with your circuit and the Supreme Court is last. Money is can be a problem, but time is what really get's you. They don't have to set you free while you appeal, and it could be years in between each case plus they can just deny you appeal at any point and that's it.

There are local Fed courts ( for federal crimes ) also, then the line would be shorter, circuit, then supreme.

even though he got aquited for murder, he pretty much lost everything he owned. Court alone cost him 10 mil the first time.

honestly, if he was found guilty then, he'd be out for a while now and still be filthy rich


PS: he was a horrible actor, but I did like "1st and 10" TV show. I got all 6 seasons for $3 at a yard sale, woo-hoo

Retired NFL persons before the recent NFLPA (Gene Upshaws regime) really dont get shit. Theyre trying to improve on that.... or were before GU died.
