    true story.

Also Green Tea helps quite a bit. I used to drink that all the time. Plus you could lose some weight.

        Im usually fine.

Try getting a full nights sleep or going to bed earlier..going to work when you are still tired doesnt help.

Monday mornings I leave from my girls place in Jersey about 6ish, and head back into Long Island via the George Washington Bridge and the Cross Bronx..takes me just under an hour to get to work...with the sun in my face most of the way.

Listening to Opie an Anthony keeps me awake, as does eating....but if I sleep a lot the night before Im great.

If you have to say anything more than the size when ordering the coffee, you are doing it wrong.

Oh, ok then. No one's allowed to like anything different, we have to all drink it black.

I actually took my wife's advice and started ordering my coffee half-caf, and so far, I haven't had any of the stomach issues.

I start every day with a green tea, a 20 minute shower, and a metal cd for the commute.

Lately, having to scrape my windshield in the morning frustrates me enough to keep me awake.

I usually get out of bed at about noon, lunch wakes me up nicely.

Wrong. You just don't know what good coffee is. You probably buy the stale shit at 7-11 huh?

I've grduated from mochas to lattes to straight drip to Americanos to espresso. Coffee is my biggest addiction, and it is tasty.

If it's cold out I leave my windows down and sunfoor open. That wakes me up.

Cut back on dairy products and your energy levels will go through the roof.

Also, eat nuts and avocado first thing in the morning for a boost.

Brew a green tea at home before you leave? Excellent source of anti oxidants

I once had trouble staying awake while driving back from Vegas after not having slept for a couple days.

The scare of waking up and realizing you're still driving was enough to get my adrenaline pumping.

I fell asleep reading this thread

.....but seriously ive never had an issue with any of the 5 hour energy drinks ive used thus far. I can also attest to the ineffectiveness of the "wind in your face loud music" trick. Aside from the energy drinks, conversation works well for me, and kills time to boot.

Exercise is probably your best bet.. With all of that double triple americano shit you put in your body, a few push ups and sit ups in the morning might not be a bad idea. I know personally its hard as shit for me to fall asleep right after i finish my 6am run.
