        Extremely, in fact, I signed an NDA about pay and everything(lameness for a tire store), but I'll say that after the preliminary portion, once things move up, I'll be pulling in more than I was in my prior job. Pay Increase FTW!!!

              Why did a tire place make you sign an NDA? It's not like they've got any trade secrets. They sell tires?

              ...an NDA is a Non-disclosure agreement.

                Yeah, I was bemused when I was going thru the New Hire Packet and came across that one. It claimed to need to protect "trade secrets", and to prevent me from working with any direct competition for the next 24 months within 15 miles of any of their present, or, future locations.

                I hope they don't read r3v and find out I disclosed a NDA.

                  That's a non-compete agreement, which by the way does not hold up in the state of Californialand.

                          Yeah, it was a one-two punch combo package with both, the trade secrets requirements, and the non compete.
