There's a "joey mod" for the headlights, search it, you might like it.

2.0 MkIV Jetta = Don't waste money on "power mods" because it will never have a such thing without FI.

That MkIV on Alfreds is the SHIT!

                    I hate Mk4s.

Just keep it stock, I am sure your gf doesn't want it modded?
Yeah they really suck dick. For some reason around here mk4's are in full force. About 4 of my buddies have one, and they are all piles. Once they hit around 75k they start to fall to pieces.

The only thing I question about my MKIV is why aren't I driving my e30? And yes, after 75k mine started to fall apart.

The 2.Slow kinda limits your options as far as power, but you have tons of visual options with the MKIV body.

I'd say make a trip to your local junkyard, there are going to be bunches of MKIV's almost anywhere you look, and most of the body parts are completely interchangeable. Want a GTI front end? It'll fit! VW had so many different versions, different details should be easy to find. There are 6 different kinds of tail lights to give you an idea of the options you have.

Fyi: The body kit for GLI's and GTI's is called a Votex kit, and is model specific between the two. It was available starting in '04 with the 20th AE edition GLI, and on the 20th AE GTI and 337 GTI (basically the same car).
