I do like the sl500 turbine wheels. they seem to fit the jetta with a little bit of drop IMO

VW's best use is hammering them down to the ground with nice wheels though. The suspension design is so poor it's practically worthless to try to make them a good handling car.

why bother? I wouldn't even think of modding my wife's car - '02 sentra (at least it's a manual). Any way you cut it, it's still a chick car, it's still crap, and you still feel gay when you drive it. ;)

plus, few girls are going to appreciate mods to their cars. She'll probably be just as happy if you wash the thing once in a while - cause she sure as hell isn't going to.

It's a 2.0, so it fails in the performance department. You can get some GLI bits and some e-code headlamps, but if your gf is like most, those parts will be compromised soon by a distraction and/or poor driving.
