    european economics & seat repair

    So,
Life in europe has been pretty tough for me, the over taxation of my welfare check paired with the government nationalizing my family hemp farm forced my to get creative to make ends meet. Since the government owned e30 parts store didn't have any sport seat bolsters, I made one work from a std. flat seat:

    Busted sport seat:

    decent flat seat:

take it apart (had taken out the center section, but didn't have enough cloth to make it work)

std bolster cut with about 1.5" extra cloth:

New bolster is attached to seat via original vinyl holes (back side) and plastic tabs+ factory clips around extra cloth.. :

(right by my finger you can make out one of them)

Get it nice and even and it'll work out.

It doesn't work out perfect, but is a very nice improvement.

    get at it r3v kiddies,
    Julien

Quite a creative repair in an economic downturn, Similar to my thoughts of downgrading to an m20b25 swap. With the dollar in such dire straights, I may just buy a Festiva, and part out the project.

against what? either you are joking or just ignorant.

it is at highest it has been since 11/22/2006 against the euro
highest it has been since 05/27/2005 against the canadian dollar
highest it has been since 09/19/2003 against the british pound
highest it has been since 10/31/2007 against the swedish franc
highest it has been since 09/02/2005 against the brazilian real
highest it has ever been against the MXN mexican peso since it was reevaluated in 1993

Unless you are trying to overnight parts from JAPAN!, you should be looking pretty now with the dollar.

I want to. E30 meet in Munich? We can buy an E30 and bring FrankM along to swap an M30 in, drunk drive it, then we can part it out when he crashes.

yeah, platinum prices are on a steep decline for the last 6 months. Rapper's chains are decreasing in value so rapidly they have to change their lyrics while recording their songs about the value of their jewelry
