Its a breath of fresh air to hear that someone worked hard, saved up and got a home to call their own. Most of the people I grew up with are now jumping on the "oh, I didn't know my mortgage would jump up - I can't pay it! Save me Uncle sam!" band wagon.

Oh and BTW - when they are done with construction next door - the two green tubes in your yard - call the cable and the telephone company and tell them to put it underground on the curb. If they don't get a friend to run over it with a truck - eventually they will get the idea.
