And Joe? The Joe that is not a licensed plumber and who owes back taxes? There's a role model for ya! The GOP needs to be picked on if that's their idea of an advocate.

I'm quite certain that there are very few on this board who, should Obama's tax plan actually make it through the legislative system and be enacted, make enough to be affected negatively.

You guys try to make him sound like a dictator. As if he is going to be elected and bam there go your guns and money......

And now Sarah says she believes she has a "mandate from God" to lead the GOP? Hitler had one of those, too! He talked of "real Germans" and how he would, with God's help heal the nation. McCain's people are probably ready to strangle her.

I sincerely hope American voters are not stupid enough to let that woman anywhere near the White House.

I found every interesting in the past months to hear absolutely nothing positive from the supporters of the McCain/Palin camp. At no time did they advocate for a better future, or finding better ways. All I heard was a dirty campaign, most of the time based on lies. Obama's an abortionist black elitist muslim terrorist. Wow. Is that as much as the republican supporters can bring? Ho. I forgot. Now, Obama's aunt is a refugee. Wow. Impressive.

Anything I have heard from the same republican supporters was tainted by xenophobia, fear, ignorance and twisted religion. Is that what Americans want for their future? I hope not. We've seen what t brought for the past 8 years...

The US will probably be divided by November 4th. But the wounds will heal, and the US will be in a better direction.

So let me get this straight, you are complaining over spending $0.0000000001(you get the point)...so someone who can live in America, work in America, support the economy by shopping in America, hell she may even help others out, you never know.

Its just funny that people complain about public housing and such, when the amount of money that actually comes out of each person's pocket is so tiny as to be negligible. The amount of money that goes back into the system far outweighs the amount of money to house them.

        that's a stretch.

I don't complain about the fact that my tax $ helps some folks out; I live just fine and have no problem helping out others who are less fortunate. However, to stretch it to where you have regarding what she does is pretty rediculous.

It's the principal of the thing; I don't see why people should be allowed to be in our country illegally. Got greencard? welcome home. Don't have one? GTFO. It's that simple, and I don't care if you're black/white/purple/striped/etc... the rules apply all the same.

Is that the direction based on hope and change?

Bush is a failure. Period. And, there are a LOT of ignorant people in this country who hate Obama b/c of race/religion/etc. Those people are just as stupid as the kool-aid drinkers who buy all of Obama's BS.

The thing that brings me "hope" is that Obama the other day stated that his changes will "take time" and "nothing can happen over night". The country needs direction, but I don't like the suggestions Obama has made on how to get there.

+1. Also, I find it somewhat ironic that the man who's preaching "spread the weath" is incredibly wealthy and yet his own family hasn't been taken care of. (And why has her nephew not suggested she become, or taken her to go become, a naturalized citizen?) while each little "thing" that is found on Obama really doesn't matter singularly, as a whole they point to a man whose actions and morals don't appear to match his rhetoric, and a man who's hiding something from the American populus.

And mtechnik- did you read that sentence before you posted it?

                +2 on Ted's post.

No Obama supporter has ever answered the question about his and Biden's personal giving records. If they are all about helping the needy and spreading the wealth, why do they give so little?

Yes, she is one person, but there are millions living in crime, drug, poverty infested public housing.

Wouldn't it be nice if we really had 400 million tax payers. Only about 130 million Americans work and pay taxes. The rest use the services provided by those tax dollars, without any personal input. If you care so much, why don't we go take everyone from all the hostile nations across the globe and set them up in public housing in America. They are each only $0.000000001 right?

Tens of millions of people live off the government, and it adds up to tens of billions of dollars per year. I spend 25% of my check in taxes so others can destroy the system and not do anything with their life, because they are too stupid and lazy to take any initiative to make something of themselves, yes I am complaining.

But it is oh so easy to spend your money, they know what you should do with your money better than you do. They have all these great ideas of how they can spend everyone's money, but it stops when it comes to personal contribution to their ideals.

Indeed. And while we should restrain hope and changes (it's all political bullshit and sponsors expecting returns after all), I still expect a different mind set, aimed at benefiting citizens more than corporations. Looking at the 8 past years, it is easy to see that whatever has been done by the Bush administration was to make lots of $$$, favoring past and current business partners, at the expense of US citizens. Haliburton, Irak, Afghanistan. Scratch my ass, i'll scratch yours. And please, no more decisions based on "God made me do it"...

No one has yet stated how the behavior of Obama's mother's sister is somehow relevant in the decision of whether or not Obama is fit to lead the country.

Imagine the IRS showing up at your house wanting to hold you accountable for your aunt's failure to pay taxes. Guilt by association they would say. "you are related therefore somehow-we don't know exactly how-YOU are responsible for her actions".

                          More GOP desperation.

None of this changes the fact that McCain is too old and out-of-touch, and his running mate is a self-serving megalomaniac.

HAHAHA...wait, you think based on his previous track record he's proven that he is ready to lead a country????

I don't care about the fact that his dumbass aunt is here illegally, however Obama has done nothing but pour "promises" out of his ass with no proven track record. The man has done nothing, but because he represents something polar opposite of Bush everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Vote for the fad. That's what America is all about now right?

                                thank god.

Who the fuck cares what Obama's Aunt is doing? What does it have to do with him, or the campaign, or anything?

                                The answer is: Nothing.

This is just more of Vedubins' pathetic fear mongering and hate-filled rhetoric. He'll literally pick up on anything in the world that makes liberals look bad and run crazy with it (while ignoring every conservative scandal, of course). What he doesn't realize is that it makes him look like a desperate, fearful racist willing to sink the the lowest of low depths to slander anyone who he disagrees with.

This must be the dozenth article he's posted bashing liberals, I guess he's dumb enough to think that if he does it enough, we'll all change our minds and blindly agree with him.
