Yes, a re-issue but a real beauty and fun as hell to play
Sick thread. Never really looked through the OTL before.
Ive noticed that car guys generally love the same 4 things, Tits, cars, guns, and guitars or some other intsrument. I love them all.
Between my brother, my uncle and I we have alot of guitars at my house.
Gibson j45
Ibanez JetKing1
Ibanez Starter Bass
Eterna Acoustic( yamaha offshoot, but my favorite to play around the house)
Squire Strat
Fender Strat, Mexican-o especial
Fender Koa Tele
Kasuga- Jap les paul rip off 70s vintage
Epiphone SG i think its actually a g300
New Hoffner Beatle Bass Remake
Dan Electro Baritone
Gretsch Nashville
Ibanez Artcore semi hollow body
B.C. Rich warlock. (1st guitar, thought it would be great, but now i hate it, but cant sell it cause it was my 1st..)
Squire Jazz Bass
Oscar Schmidt Delta King
maybe 1 or 2 others i cant think of.
As for amps i scored a old stage 720 at the dump that just needed a fuse, Also an old Peavey Tube amp my uncle gave me which sounds awesome, And My brothers got an Crate half stack that he scored for next to nothing at a pawn shop.
Im at school right now, but when i go home ill post some pics of the nicer stuff

-1975 Ibanez les paul copy(pre lawsuit with headstock)
-1986 Yamaha se250 with a Joe Stariani pickup(cheap but plays and sounds incredible)
-And the bastard OLP John petrucci model which I have the tremolo blocked with beefy strings for C stanard(useless for shredding in standard)
-Recently purchased the douglas 7 string. $200 brand new, but is built and plays like a $600 guitar. Also put a dimarzio evolution in the bridge. A change of seasons intro sounds amazing through the acoustic simulator

wow how did i not know about this thread earlier. i play a lot of older rock, mainly ac/dc stuff, some motley crue, oh and a TON of Eddie Van Halen.
Have a original 1958 Gibson ES-335TD (good luck finding one in minty condition like mine!)
also have a B.C. Rich Virgin special edition with all the floyd rose goodies.
amp of choice is my Fender Frontman 212-r, also have the original gibson falcon amp that came with my es335 new. again, goodluck finding that!

My arsenal. Used daily in bands, recording sessions and gigs.
(Check out my band KiNDERGARTEN at http://www.kindergartennyc.com)
1. 1990 Gibson SG Custom.
P94 in the Neck, unknown in the Bridge.
Name: Batman
My personal favorite and the one I will be buried with.
Batman in action at a KiNDERGARTEN show:
2. 1979 Gibson SG Special "Firebrand"
Extremely rare model, went on to become the "The SG" series
2 uncovered Factory Humbuckers
Name: Bruce Wayne
Bruce Wayne in Action during a FakeC/DC show (my AC/DC tribute band). This is after I stripped off the schoolboy uniform
3. 1984 Fender Stratocaster MIJ (Made in Japan)
Lace Sensors for extra special funk-a-tating
Name: Yoshi
Yoshi in action at a Michael Jackson tribute show (before he died):
4. MUTT:
Body - 1986 Fernandes Telecaster, Made in Japan (in the 80's Fernandes made better Fenders than Fender.
Neck - 1957 Fender Esquire neck, given to my boss by Jackson Brown.
This thing is a workhorse and a beast.
Doesn't have a name. If I did something faggy like name it, the guitar would get up and kick my ass.
The MUTT in action during a live radio performance with KiNDERGARTEN:
5. 2000's Gretsch White Falcon. Japanese Re-issue
Yes, a re-issue but a real beauty and fun as hell to play
The Gretsch in Action during an Elvis Costello Tribute Show:
Me as Elvis Costello:
6. 1977 Gibson Les Paul Jr.
Double P-90's.
Not the greatest guitar. It's got 2 killer P-90's but not the resonant body they need to really scream. But it's cute.
Also pictured: 1967 Fender Bandmaster. My personal favorite go to amp.
7. ESP M-1, 80's. For when I want to play like Eddie Van Halen.
Single humbucker distortion pickup and Floyd Rose system.
Name: The Chief Medical Officer
8. 1980's Hamer. Model unknown. I rarely play it. It was a handmedown. But it looks good on my wall. Used to me hot pink until my uncle sanded the paint off
9. 1967 Gibson EB-3 Bass. Dude, this thing is a freakin monster. Also a very rare, not production model. Good luck finding anotehr one with that identical pickup/switch set-up. This was a prototype that never went into production. Now it's mine.
10. Stella Sundale. This piece of shit is so damn warped, I can only use it as a slide guitar. Fun!
11. Fender Mandolin. Why not?
12. Yamaha 12-string. Why not?
NOT PICTURED:
-Tacoma Roadking Acoustic Guitar
-Brandless Classical/Nylon String Guitar
AMPS NOT PICTURED:
-1989 Marshall JCM 800, Super Lead 100, dual channel head
-1987 Music Man 4x12 cabinet
-1980's Marshall Lead 12 Ministack. Solid State thumper
-Pignose
OTHER INSTRUMENTS: (I use these to make money as well)
-Baritone Sax
-Harmonicas
-FLute (no pics)
-Clarinet (no pics)
-Nord Electro 2 Electromechanical keyboard (no pics)
-1974 Roland SH-2000 monophonic Synthesizer.
AND THE PIECE DE RESISTANCE:
This is not my guitar. But I am fortunate to get to use it often in recording sessions. The guitar is question is the one furthest to the right. it is a
1954 Gibson Les Paul Jr.
I call it "HOLY FUCKIN SHIT THIS IS THE GREATEST GUITAR IVE EVER PLAYED".
Taken in one of the recording studios where I work

bumpin' up for "new" gear
60's japanese short scale jazz bass. Returned to playable condition, routed out space for mini-humbuckers, put them in, wanked around on the back a tad:
Tele, unknown custom-made body, Torres bridge and SD neck pickups, graphite saddles, Sprezels, a shitty neck I'm looking to replace, and a few electronics tweaks:
The old Univox is still kicking:
I also have a 1940's tube jukebox amp en route, as well as a 60's VOX 1x15 speaker cabinet. Plan is to make a pretty sweet tube guitar amp out of those two.
