Give me a break. You guys are usually all over anything and everything. No mercy....

I look at it this way. Any of the redneck hillbillies not voting for Obama because he is black, would not have voted for him anyways. Even if he were white.

They are funny in the same way that dead baby jokes are funny. I like dead babies just about as much as I dislike black people.

Also, who says I'm referring to african americans? Maybe I'm referring to non african non american black people. Ethnocentric jackass.

Obama just took Ohio and is up in Florida with over 50% precincts reporting. If you factor in California on top of that, which Obama will take without a doubt, we already have a winner. Shoot, even last election we had to wait till morning.

This was a forgone conclusion a long time ago. People, in the last month, still thought McCain had a chance were not following logic.

Obama wins. He now has the most powerful job in the world. He better not fuck up; we've had enough of that already and aren't ready for another round at this point.

At 10 PM Eastern Time, Obama has 200 and McCain has 124 electoral college votes. Obama will easily each 310 even though 270 is needed.

"Barack Obama is now poised just 70 electoral votes from the presidency. Bear in mind California itself has 55 electoral votes. That's 15 votes Obama needs in all the states that have yet to be called, if you only assume California will be Democratic. Add in the other West Coast states of Washington (11) and Oregon (7) and he is there. And that's without Hawaii and a pile of other states in which Obama is favored."
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

True enough. Unfortunately, people voting for Obama are also not following logic. They are following glitz, hot air, and a misplace need to punish somebody for something that they don't understand.

This is a historic day. Every Presidential election is. Only history will say if this was a really bad day in history, or one in which we take out lumps and move on. If we don't end up with Obama's "Civilian Security Force" in the next few years, then we will be doing pretty well.

I really hope I don't get the chance to say "I told you so". But when Obama has failed to deliver on his promises of sweeping change, I really wonder what the disillusionment will bring, as it will be world-wide. And it will mean the world will be much, much more volatile than it is now. Just hope Obama doesn't cut the military too much, because there's a good chance it'll be absolutely necessary in the coming years.

And you're not "following logic" when you assume that Obama voters aren't "following logic". Do you even know what logic is?

I'm getting ready to go camp outside of Best Buy & Circuit city. I figure when they call it about 11:30 tonight, I'm gonna be first in line to loot me a 60 inch plasma. Who wants to join me?
