    Another e30 coming to Dallas

Well...I just recieved a job offer and might be moving to Dallas after graduating. I would start in July. Its kind of "for-real" now which feels weird, I have to grow up.

Although I don't admit it, I'm a little "scared" of moving away from all my family in Ohio because I don't really know what to expect in the new place.

Anyone want to share anything they think I should know? I looked it up on salary comparision calculator and its pretty much the same here and there but they compare apartments and here a 505/month would be 968 there...Is that true?

Also, I don't even know if the 335 would make it down there, maybe I need to sell it and just put it toward my college loan.

Dallas is kinda lame, IMO. At least the burbs are.

Oh, TX land is cheap. You'll find dirt cheap apts everywhere. Spend 7 or 8 hundo and you can get a nice place.

Any idea what part of Dallas you'll be working & living in? If you need advice as far what places to avoid & what places to live, just let me know.

There are quite a few of us here...

Its really weird how we actually have to grow up...kinda sucks. I'm stoked that I got a job offer with 7 months until I graduate but still feels kind of weird. This is a rotational program that gets me more fimiliar with the company for 18 months and then I can basically pick a location from there.

He lives in Houston...about 4-5 hours south of Dallas. Besides, you're really not missing much.

Congrats! Dont think of it as "growing up", think of it as the best times of your life are just beginning. You just need to up the responsibility and make the best out of whatever comes your way. Good luck!

I think you will like Dallas, I grew up there, and I do miss it sometimes. If I were to move back I would live in the N. Dallas area like Addison. There are lots of cool places though.

I don't think that's really fair to say. Jordan isn't the kindest guy on the internet, but he's pretty damn nice in person. He'll go way out of his way to help almost anyone.
