well I guess a guy rocking THREE MONITORS would probably want to hear about the virtues of some other dude's phone
Did you even read the first post of this thread?
Not to be a dick or anything, but trolling is what you're doing. I'd rather no one respond to my thread than see 6 people lay doo doo posts in this biatch.
I love technology. Sue me.

I currently have the 8820 WE, which is a pretty good phone, other than having to do the daily crackberry reset. I think the storm looks pretty cool, but my service provider "sprint" isn't carrying it yet. I do dig the HTC phones though.
Those HTC phones are nice.. Im not baller enough to have a $600 phone with a $120 a month plan. I'll be joining back to the measley Sidekick crowd soon enough, though. I like those little things. A buddy here has the google phone, and its pretty cool. The scanner thing on it is sick.

There's no such thing as the "8820 WE." Sprint does carry the 8830 CDMA/GSM WorldEdition.
I have an 8820 on gaytandt for work. Great phone. I played with a storm but honestly this is a consumer driven device. Cool, yes, but RIM's core demo, the business types, need a phone with a real keyboard. I'm holding out for a Bold or a curve 8900.

I have a curve and love it...fiance just picked up the Storm, I haven't played with it yet, but I'm already jealous. She paid $149 (her upgrade started TODAY, how wierd is that)...I'd love to have one, but I have only had my curve for 6 months or so...guess I'll get the next one released...

The "Storm" has no wifi at all - how retarded is that?
It's all about the Bold.
Well, I agree and disagree.
Verizon didnt want us to have wifi because it would increase the chances of the phone being unlocked on other services, or manipulated out the ass because its exclusive. Like the iPhone got fucked with jailbreaking.
Either way, verizon's EVDO network is pretty solid everywhere you go. It would be about the same speed because the phone isnt capable of processing it any faster than what verizon can serve you in the air.
And all the other Blackberrys with Wifi have more problems than ones without the capability.
For the record, I am the Blackberry admin at work. So I see a lot of Blackberry action every day. Im not just talking out my ass (this time).
