Aldi is a/the major grocery store in Germany. There's no shelves, everything just gets dropped in rows on pallets to form aisle. The food is good and cheap they just dont have everything that you would find at walmart... wish I had one closer.

there is no trader joes in gods country. most people here have the butler shop for them.
to get to a trader joes i have to travel about 8 miles east out of the safety and comfort of the warm and friendly confines of gods country. there is a lunds and thats it.

In Germany I used to drink the hell out of Aldi beer. If I recall correctly it was in a plain white can and only had the word beer on it, generic as fuck, but better than 96% of the beer over here.
