Hell yeah, I still have that same one, I just dug it out the other day. I was probably 8 or 9 when I built mine.

I actually asked for legos for Christmas. I miss those things.
I had a massive tub full of pieces that I'd take and build stuff. I would then put them on the shelf and not let anyone play with them. Hah.

Wow, pretty crazy stuff. I used to kill hours everyday with those things. They were much cooler than K'Nex or those metal Erector Set things.

I'm digging the Octan stickers in the first picture, that's vintage LM.

Oh man, I love Lego! Haven't played with it in a while.... I have a big tupperware tub full of it somewhere, but no instructions on how to build anything... lol. I'll have to get creative.

Good fucking times for sure. Does anyone know of a place that has old school lego instructions? I have all my legos in a big tub but no instructions to go along with them. I can vaguely remember some of the sets I had. I would love to put them together again.

few things in life are more important than legos.

I remember when i showed my friends the lego v8 video and they were like oh... thats it? i expected a REAL engine in a REAL car...... This brought about an argument that lasted 4 hours.... I guess you just cant impress certain people

fucking punks, i used to play with erector sets with razor sharp edges and tiny parts that could be swallowed or snorted up the nostril of a 3 year old like farbin on a line of coke at 10am on a day of unemployment

This is wild this post came up...

I am just getting home from spending ALL DAY at a lego competition.

I am the coach for a first lego league team. It is part of the robotics class I teach to Middle School kids. They have to design a robot using only legos and then use programming software to make them work. Pretty cool thing. This was the first year and it is a pretty overwhelming thing.

Maybe I will commission a lego e30 from one of these crazy lego kids.
