How many OGs remember when DTMpower was "BMWmpower"? or "Bimmer.org" vs Roadfly? BMW is sue-happy too.

You install car stereos for a living and don't understand the "minitruck" crowd?

Alright point takin but with the financial crisis they are in do you really thing this is going to help with there customer base I sure as hell dont think so. Im not trying to argue with anyone it just seems like they need to worry about the big problems like going under and putting hundreds of thousands of people out of jobs not a stupid website devoted to there product.

They're just trying to figure out some way to make some money.

I guess I understand where they are comming from to some degree, but it still think its kind of bullshit. I know of quite a few Toyota off road forums that use brand names, Tacoma territory comes to mind.

I sent an email to Ford and Fox news. I think this is total crap. Ford blows and should be happy that someone even wants to make a forum about them. Especially the Ranger.

So can I get the VWvortex shut down then? Not that I want to.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Seriously, Luke. Pick a car, there is a forum for it.

I am a member of SiennaClub.org as my wife has one and it got me access to a complete factory service manual.

IIRC they previously went after one of the Mustang forums after they were selling shirts or other items with the name and/or logo on them . . .

                          And what Charlie said. BMWM5BOARD . . .

Like I said in another thread, I had a few swapped Hyundais back in the late 90's. There is a forum for them too.

Telegraph<Radio<TV<Internet<??? I want to know so I can make the money off it.

EDIT: Ford knows their sales are doomed so why would they care about destroying a faithful following?

Didn't Ford get in a tizzy over people taking pictures of their own Mustangs awhile back?
