Well the website isn't "The Ford Ranger Station", it's just The Ranger Station. Ford can't copyright the word "ranger".

yes they can, as far as it relates to automobiles. in fact, they definitely have.

They are not trying to make money, trying to keep their trademarks.

Alright point takin but with the financial crisis they are in do you really thing this is going to help with there customer base I sure as hell dont think so. Im not trying to argue with anyone it just seems like they need to worry about the big problems like going under and putting hundreds of thousands of people out of jobs not a stupid website devoted to there product.

I guess I understand where they are comming from to some degree, but it still think its kind of bullshit. I know of quite a few Toyota off road forums that use brand names, Tacoma territory comes to mind.

I sent an email to Ford and Fox news. I think this is total crap. Ford blows and should be happy that someone even wants to make a forum about them. Especially the Ranger.

So can I get the VWvortex shut down then? Not that I want to.

Seriously, Luke. Pick a car, there is a forum for it.

I am a member of SiennaClub.org as my wife has one and it got me access to a complete factory service manual.

IIRC they previously went after one of the Mustang forums after they were selling shirts or other items with the name and/or logo on them . . .
