verizon wireless question

hey guys, pretty random question but who better to ask then some fine r3v members on this nice tuesday morning.

so i just got verizon wireless yesterday. the phone i got is pretty nice has a keyboard on it. ive never owned one with a keyboard but i can already tell im gonna text a ton. this is ok caus ei got unlimited texting, but my question is if i sign on to AIM from my phone, do the messages that i send from AIM on my phone count towards my unlimited texting? or does it count towards like internet usage or whatever?

Pick up your phone and dial 611. this is the backdoor into customer service (and we all like backdoors, don't we?) and will not hit your airtime...ask them, then document the call, so if they are wrong, you can say "I spoke with "Margie" on 12/23/08 at 10:55AM and she said" blah blah blah...

In other words, cover your ass.

I had a $900 1 month bill from the GFs son texting...be careful with Verizon.
