Throwing the guy an offer without seeing the car is not very wise. That said, it seems like a decent car, I don't know if the 535iSA has a 3.73 open or 3.73 LSD, but that would probably make or break the deal for me. It doesn't seem solid or well-sorted, so it would have to have one or more of the following for me to bite:

      Stupidly low mileage
      Original paint/panels
      Free euro bumpers + hardware
Three or more dead hookers in the trunk

Note: By saying "bite" I am in no way referencing MikeK's above post.

Last Augest, as in 07 or 08? Makes me wonder what is up, looks like 05 stickers, so it has sat 3-4 years, it is fixable, but will take a great deal of time, $$$, many small things, I can see a minor dent in the front fender, paint pealing on the hood, and lots of other stuff.

Reminds me of a time when I offered a guy with a euro e24 $600 and got a flaming response about what an ass I am, 3 months later he sold it on ebay for $597 minus fees I think this guy ( e28 ) is just thinking of selling...

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

If it were such a good deal then it wouldn't be for sale for a year and a half, way too many people look at CL, I'm just wondering what it is? I found a running & driving car for $1400, and a cleaned up car on ebay bid up to $5000, a clean running car bid to $2000 in closed auctions.

Wait. I have an idea. Stop talking smack and go take a look at it. if i was still there, i know I would. If 800 bucks isn't worth your time, why on earth did you waste this site's time?

The front and real spoilers would fetch $500 in the real world. By real world I mean not here on R3V where broke college students make lowball offers and want to make 5 payments on $100 parts.

He's only asking $600. The car looks like it would clean up. The fact that it has a bad transmission has probably scared a lot of potential customers away because 90% of the world cant replace their own transmission, so they look at it as a $2000 service on a $600 car.
