but are internet searches and visited sites saved to ones hard drive? I could understand files that were moved to a drive......

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Not if you use google they keep a record of every search ever made and have ever since the being. If you have AOL they actively call the cops if you are doing something illegal and it goes through you private email. Saw all this on a some show on the old court TV what ever the hell its called now, have also seen it a few other places as the cops have used prior searches by you IP address and deleted private emails, and all kinds of stuff like this.

Now I wonder if they go through the same steps regarding emails, as they do regarding phone calls. Not necessarily the procedures, but rather the charges. It is a federal offense to use government air ways to organize any sort of crime (or maybe felony). I remember they got Jamal Lewis for organizing a drug deal over a cell phone, and he wasnt the seller or buyer.

Government doesn't own the internet. No one does.

Practically false. A magnet strong enough to scramble a hard drive's platters is strong enough to pull the iron from your blood if you stand near it.

Nothing is ever deleted from your computer, only the location is removed from the paging file. It can be overwritten but not deleted.
