I need to vent. It is getting to the point where one of these days I am going to lose my cool and break my roommates nose. He has absolutely NO respect for the common areas of the apartment and no respect for any of the other guys that live here. Myself and another roommate of mine have both cleaned the kitchen this week and he goes in there and completely destroys it everytime. He leaves huge grease splatters all over the stove, food chunks on the countertops dirty dishes, etc. I try talking to him about it but all he does is freak out and yell. He cannot be reasoned with. He thinks that it is completely ok to leave a mess. We are talking about a 24 year old adult here. What the hell do I do guys? I can't handle this any longer.

Confront him. You and the other roomie, together. Keep your cool and make it a simple matter of shared space. Decide ahead of time what you and the other roomie expect all three of you to live up to and, if anyone cannot do so, what the consequences will be. Make sure you convey to Mr. Messy that he is an equal in the discussion and be open to his ideas on expectations and penalities; it's a team effort and he's on the team.

i used to put the dirty dishes in my whore roommates bed when she would leave them out.

i flat refused to do them after a while. she would just leave them and hope i would do them. i would tell her "if those fucking dishes you made aren't clean or in the dishwasher by the time i get home from work they are going in your bed" she didn't believe that i would it took 2 times. problem solved

Morning is one thing but to leave it for days at a time, which my roommates do, is ridiculous.
