$4.5 mill would be an epic piece of monetary history for me and future generations. Id buy a few M3s, a 2,000g reef tank, a house, and retire..... way better than some old car.

No way I'd keep it, but if I discovered it I'd probably shit myself.Comment

I completely agree with you on this. Granted, restoring this rare car would set you back a mortgage or three. Having one of only 17 produced would be some serious bragging rights. And as time passes - especially considering the revival of the Bugatti brand - this car is only going to increase in value.
When you think about the current climate of the stock market and uncertainty of related investments, this car looks like a sound portfolio option ;)

It is but most people who win the lottery are bankrupt within a year, have you ever heard of a lottery winner starting a company or investing it properly? nope they blow it all right away like the idiots they are.It would be so hard to decide between selling that and keeping it. One the one hand, 4.5 million is a lot of fucking scratch. But on the other hand, from an enthusiast perspective, taking that to shows, driving it around and just saying you own it would be so amazing.Comment

I would sell it, as you wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that someone might steal it.... buy a house/car in cash and invest / save the rest. Live comfortable.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

Yeah, and you can't really enjoy driving because the second it gets
in a wreak, oh man you better hope you die from the crash or you're going
home and committing seppuku.-Frank

I'd sell it in a heartbeat. I could never afford the insurance and my kids grubby hands would be all over it. I'd die of a heart attack at an early age for sure.
I'd take a couple hundred grand and buy all the M cars and drive them. Then buy some more.
Much more fun...less angina.Comment

Yeah I thought he had some guys doing nothing but restoring cars and doing general work on his collection. Seems like they have full capability to tool up for just about anything even making custom one off parts...Comment

He does quite a bit of wrenching, when he has the time. Jay Leno isn't some checkbook modder, he's the real deal.Comment
