I use it for my company (twitter/InspiRev)

I get updates from a variety of marketing companies, CEOs (like Guy Kawasaki), Entrepreneur and other business magazines. I also follow a ton of opera companies. I've been able to successfully run surveys and polls, I announce when new sites are up and get feedback. I do a lot of my promoting through Facebook and Twitter. It's working out pretty well.

I created one not too long along. I just follow all the 49ers, and insiders to get quick updates during free agency. I actually have 1 49er following me!

I use it to follow fighters, foreign fight leagues, and gyms. Few people are following me back, Shane Carwin, Felice Herrig, and JR Fatu ( Rikishi from WWE )

I got a twitter, i just go on it, dont post very often and facebook? psh I think my days are over just like this so called "myspace" years back, im only on it to keep in touch with a few people no use for it now honestly, its just another myspace trend taking over with a bunch "drama"

Usually for business related social networks, LinkedIn is a pretty awesome service. Its almost like facebook or twitter, but on the business level. Everyone that uses it act on a pure business level. It creates connections between people and allows people who are lower in the chain get in contact with larger people for more opportunities. Im in the Construction business within the preconstruction process (CAD drawing), and its HUGE. Almost everyone uses it to make connection with other companies. It works pretty good.
