Even conservatives don't deny that Bush has done a shitty job. I know many here will claim that Obama will do even worse, but I have a shred of hope left.
I am not looking forwards to Obamapalooza, not because of the man's policies, but rather that traffic in the DC area is going to be crazy pre/post inauguration. At least the federal government is shut down for a few days.
WASHINGTON — Just a month after President-elect Barack Obama takes office, he must tell the Supreme Court where he stands on one of the most aggressive legal claims made by the Bush administration — that the president may order the military to seize legal residents of the United States and hold them indefinitely without charging them with a crime.

not looking forward to this guy, cant wait till my taxes go up, fuel goes up, taxes on fuel up more, all the green BS that will get pushed through in the name of climate change, the draconian gun laws that will spring up and prolly sail through the system.
this is not going to be a good 4 years. History will look back on this man and he will be hero or zero no in between my bet zero . I am no fan of bush 2 but I have a sneaky suspicion that in 40 years or more history will look more positively on him than any of us would suspect.
