Thats just it, people who can not legally own/buy a gun will still be able to get them through blackmarket sources on the streets. These new laws are only going to make legal law-abiding citizens from owning/buying something the constitution says we have the right to own...

My point is, once one right has been infringed on, others will fall as well. You're obviously not a fan of history, but this has happened over and over throughout human civilization and it is very "small" things like this that start the downward spiral.
I understand what you're saying, the e30 was not designed to kill. A gun or rifle is designed to just that. But it is a clear and obvious fact that the OVERWHELMING majority of gun owners never have or will never kill a person. I don't have the numbers but i'm certain in the U.S. more people die from accidental car accidents then accidental weapon discharges.

+10 the argument sucked. not sure i agree with the legislation though. don't own any guns myself but as long as the people buying them have passed the correct checks and are appropriately trained, why not? i also don't buy the we need semi automatics to defend ourselves from the govt BS either.Comment

Do you honestly think if they really want to hit someone with the law that will let the words "at least" be the deciding factor?
I wouldnt past alot of the judges out there, to go " detachable mag, check, oh and it was produced in auto form...so your screwd son".
Trust me things can be changed and warped in court to have it sound just the way someone wants it to sound.

I just realised something all the pistols I listed have the barrel covered, so you could technically hold it...though not the best way, but the potential is there...they could easily use that.
