I would say carry, I know aginst CCW rules too do so in a place that serves alcohol by the drink.
I would rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6.
But in this case, with 4 asaliants you stand a better chance of getting out by not. If you pull on these guys you may get 1 or 2 before they get you so, thats the quandary in a situation like this. You are stuck to rely on the police in a situation that life or death is determined by mere seconds not 1/4 hours. AS to what I would do I have no idea till confronted with it. I used to work in a Bar in highschool closed 4 nights a week from mid night to 3am, this was one of my biggest worries. Just go about your life but be cautious at work if something dose not look right or you have a gut instinct go with it. your gut will be right more often than its not.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

well it all depends on the situation, if you are in back where you can stay semi outta sight an they have to come through the door 1 by 1 then you have a good chance of nutrlizing the threat with minimal risk to your self. As opposed to be being out in the open part of the restaurant.
You would be justified in shooting these idiots as they have killed before (well executed) and you have every reason to belive that they will do the same to you if given the opportunity. Not to say it would not be a stress full deal with the cops in the after math but hey this is all semantics at this point.
You do what you think is the best course of action for you and don't do anything that you aren't comfortable with as that will make you life full of more stress and keep you on edge even more.Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

since i have worked in bars, more or less since 96 i have always had some kind of weapon. in 98 i got my CCW. l learned that in AZ, if you have a CCW, are working at said bar, not consuming alcohol, and have permission of the owner of the bar, you may carry a gun concealed.
when i was working at the rouge, there was a person who was going around and shooting/killing bartenders and robbing them. the owner paid me $100 per night to show up 2 hours before close and escort the bartenders out (all female) every night for 1 month until they caught the guy.
when i worked at Mardi Gras i would carry concealed, and escort the owners out to their cars on big nights.
when i worked at Cateye, i started carrying after 2 patrons from the strip club next door started a fight in our lot after being thrown out from the strip club. when my owner tried to stop the fight, one of them pulled a gun and tried to shoot the owner in the face. he missed and was almost beaten to death. not before he was able to produce 2 hand guns and 1 shot gun. i had to stab him through the hand to get one of the guns away and eventually had to crush his head in the door of his own truck as he was going for the shotgun. cocaine gives you great stamina!
the owner and i turned around to face one of his friends leveling a compact .40 K-bar at us. i tackled him got the gun away and beat him with it. adrenaline got the best of us and we beat him unconscious. this took place over 15 minutes. the cops were called when the first shot was fired. they showed up just as the dust was settling. the first officer to show up looked at us and said "wow! they choose poorly!"
after that i always had 3 guns on my person while at work.
your friends just have to be super aware of their surroundings. if they see some suspicious people come in, take not of them, keep in touch with the local pd and patrol officers for their area. give them a description of the people. encourage them to stop in occasionally. if there is a random police presence they will most likely pick a different targetseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

i disagree there. if they came in armed with 1 gun each, they were counting on finding at least the bar staff there. they wanted to hit it before they put the nights deposits in the safe. this is the typical MO for people who rob bars. for what ever reason they saw the male there as a possible threat or just didn't care (who knows what goes through a piece of shit's mind).
i am sorry for the guy who lost his life in such a brutal way to people who should be deprived of the right to breathe.
the only way to defend yourself in a situation like that is to catch them comming in the door. you are safe to assume that they intend to do you harm and are armed in that situation. shoot first ask questions later. they don't give a fuck about you, you should show them the same quarterseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

BOOM BABY!
It is a great day in the ATL.
Just waiting for this asshole to fold so the others can be brought to justice.
Atlanta police Friday announced an arrest in the Jan. 7 shooting death at Standard Food & Spirits on Memorial Drive, a case that has galvanized neighborhoods and businesses east of downtown Atlanta.
Television station Fox 5 identified the suspect as Jonathan Redding, 17. According to Fulton County jail records, Redding was arrested Thursday and is being held on 22 charges in connection with the case, including felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and false imprisonment. He was initially booked into the Fulton County Jail on April 10.
Authorities linked the accused killer to Henderson using DNA evidence and ballistics tests.
According to police, the suspect was also charged with two other crimes — a home invasion and an armed robbery that occurred in the Standard parking lot three weeks before Henderson’s slaying.
“The person arrested is not the person who killed my son,” Donald Henderson told AJC.com from his home in Gwynn Oak, Md. “He was the person who shot him in the leg so there are the rest of the members of the gang still out there.
“I know from the detective that this person is not alone,” Henderson said. “He was acting with a gang of three or four others, and the reason they were able to make the arrest is they were able to collect other evidence.”
Henderson said he had always thought his son’s death was “a case of false bravado, too much testosterone” on the part of the suspects.
His 27-year-old son was shot several times even though he complied with robbers’ demands, police said.
The killing took place as Henderson and another bartender were getting ready to close the bar. Armed assailants broke through the bar’s glass door, police said.
Atlanta police scheduled an afternoon news conference to discuss the arrest.
“We’ve finally got some movement” in the case, Homicide Lt. Keith Meadows said Friday.
Henderson said the arrest is of little comfort to his family but it at least eases his concern for Atlanta residents.
“It’s very difficult to really assess the emotions,” the father said. “There certainly has been deep emotions this week because it’s Mother’s Day, and it’s going to be the first one [for his wife since the shooting]. There’s a void there than can never be filled, and we will grieve until the day we die.”
The bartender who survived the attack, Ashley Elder, told Fox 5 that she was “extremely happy” that police had made an arrest.
“It does feel good,” she told the station. “I wish this day wasn’t here, and he (Henderson) was.”
Owner and General Manager Chris Johnson learned about the arrest at about 6 a.m. Friday.
“Let’s get the rest of them,” Johnson said. “I’m hoping he talks.”
Johnson said his employees’ lives have been changed by the crime.
“It’s a rough thing,” he said. ” We have our ups and downs, but it’s good to have one off the street.”
Johnson said he doubts he and his staff will ever sleep well again. “It doesn’t make for a happy ending. It just makes for an ending.” The lunch crowd Friday was surprised to find reporters and TV news trucks camped out in front of the bar.
Tim Truxell, who lives across the street on Memorial Drive, was working from home Friday and decided to walk over for lunch. He learned about the arrest when he arrived.
“I knew almost everybody here (at the bar), and it’s still pretty chilling,” Truxell said. “I’ve lived here for a while and it’s a fact (crime) you have to deal with. But a few months prior to that (the shooting) it seemed like crime was ramping up every day. This was a culmination of everything.”
Truxell, an Internet consultant, said his wife is “a little scared” and they are more careful, but he’s never thought about leaving Grant Park. “It was never an option to move,” he said. “I love this neighborhood.”
Kyle Keyser, who formed Atlantans Together Against Crime because of his frustration over Henderson’s death, said the news of the arrest was bittersweet.
“John Henderson’s murder was a big part of the tipping point that brought Atlantans together against crime,” Keyser said. “It’s been a busy four months since then. I’m curious to see what the police have to say. It’s a bittersweet moment for me because you don’t want to celebrate the arrest of someone but, at the end of the day, it’s nice to know our efforts … increased the reward.”
A friend notified him Friday morning via text message and Keyser immediately posted news of the arrest on the group’s Web site, atlantanstogether.org.
“I will be twittering and blogging from the news conference,” he said.Yours truly,
Rich

I can't say much because the only part of Atlanta I have been to was a shithole. And I was only there for 3-4 days.
I do however remember the freeways being like a rat maze. You can't see out of them till you get out of town. Or maybe that was just the downtown area?Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
