LOL... pretty dominant, eh? At least one of your state's teams showed up to play.

The interception wasnt bradfords fault, rather a bad play by the WR, and a great play by the DB. That really turned the momentum around late, and OU couldnt stop ANYTHING.

I hate Tim Tebow, he better stay next year. There will be no sense in coming out early to not be drafted. Like the OU DB said... hed be the 4th best QB in the Big 12.
        First statement I agree.
Second statement, you are out of your mind.

Tebow isnt a good quarterback. Hes a great player, but not a great QB. Id take McCoy, Bradford, and Daniels any day of the week over him as my QB.

What constitutes a good qb in your opinion, having to look at the sideline every play?
            Here are their stats.

View the profile of Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Colt McCoy on ESPN. Get the latest news, live stats and game highlights.

View the profile of Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Sam Bradford on ESPN. Get the latest news, live stats and game highlights.

View the profile of Los Angeles Chargers Quarterback Chase Daniel on ESPN. Get the latest news, live stats and game highlights.

Now, lets say for arguements sake that the big 12 and the SEC are both level in strength of scedule and calibre of teams offensivly and defensivly.
How is he not within the top 4 in your conference?

The more I look at those stats the more I wonder....
Look at his interception rate, look at his rushing, keep in mind in 06 he played under Chris Leak (remember him?).
Think about Tebow in your conference.... an SEC qb who can rush for over 500 yards a season, and barely turns the ball over?
Flip, you are a Mcnabb fan, how can you NOT love Tebow?
              Yours truly,

I cant view any of those links here at work. His passing yards are all due to the run. The other 3 are true QBs. They dont have to run the ball as much as their running backs, bringing that 8th man up into the box. Then he gives that fake draw, dumps it off and the WRs pick up the extra yardage. Now their scheme is a great one, obviously, it wins championships. Hes merely a product of his system though (see Alex Smith for reference), Urban Meyer makes players look better than they are.

Its just my take... but Id take McCoy, Daniel, Bradford, then Tebow, in that order. Theres a reason why Tebow isnt going to be drafted high (if at all). Hes not a real QB. Group him with Eric Crouch, Woody Dantzler, Anwan Randle-El, Tommy Frazier, etc.

McNabb and Tebow have NOTHING in common. Absolutely nothing. McNabb lead his conference in passing TDs of all time (before pat white broke it this year). McNabb is a scrambling capable QB, who stays in the pocket (I wish hed revert back to his old self and run it more, but thats another story). Tebow doesnt have the capacity of being an all pro QB like McNabb. McNabb went #2 overall, and should have went #1, Tebow wont be drafted in the top 6 rounds.

So I dont see how since I love Dmac, I should Tebow as well.

Exactly, David Green, Dj Shokley... That's why he is staying his senior year (i believe at least, we will see) and someone like Stafford is going. Time will tell with Stafford, but the kid throws the ball on a rope with great accuracy. Given the right situation he could be a Matt Ryan.
Big 12 and SEC are totally different conferences. Smart sports guys said FL by 10. I think that Fl got beat the firs half UNTIL OK made it into the red zone. You HAVE to capitalize on turnovers. You just do. A team like OK should have been able to and they weren't. Florida's defense was too tough. The last turnover was the ender. He should have caught that ball. Black coming up with it was a game breaker, no doubt. It def. wasn't Fl Ohio State two years ago, but I think the better team won. if OK's offense had done their job after the two turnovers, then I would think they were the better team last night. they didn't and in my opinion, they weren't.

Wait, so you don't like Tebow b'c he's big, powerful, makes completions from the pocket, yet isn't afraid to run it up the gut on a designed play or a scramble....
Have you watched his career? He doesn't have the stat mcnabb had, but I see some big similarities on the field during games.

I will put the link up, but I haven't don all the research yet... Here is an exerpt.
UPDATE: WSJ's Allen Barra on Tebow's bonafides -- if not as an NFL player than as arguably the greatest college football player of all time. BTW, for the commenter who said Tebow didn't stack up to Donovan McNabb statistically, you were right: Tebow is actually superior in all the stats you cited -- yards per attempt, passer rating... let's not even count TDs, TD/INT ratio, yards-per-carry, rushing TDs, etc. As good as McNabb was in college, Tebow is -- statistically -- much better.

Tebow stastically is better than the other quarterbacks entering the draft. Jason White was better, Danny Weurfell, David Carr, so on and so on. I wouldnt want him leading my team. Id like to see these stats on paper, since you cant measure his mental capacity involving the game, or leadership when it comes down to that time to win and make that big pass.

Stafford is NOWHERE near Matt Ryans caliber. Matt Ryan is an incredibly bright player, on a team who will continue to exit the playoffs in the first round, assuming they make it. Thats cool that Stafford has a big arm, big deal. So did Kyle Boller and David Carr. I'll take a smart player with good arm (Drew Brees, McNabb, Chad pennington) or that average player with a rifle for an arm (Vince young, Boller, all the other busts we listed). Very very rarely do you get a player with both (Manning, Brady, Favre, all are HOFers). If I had to pick one of the two, I'll take the smarter player. Tebow doesnt seem like the smartest player or the player with the best arm. He just seems like a big fast QB who can run the ball. Try doing that in the NFL... It wont work.

USC above Texas in the final polls... I guess there is some justice in the world.

Texas would beat USC.... but who cares if youre not #1 I suppose.

                              lol

Texas had a hard time with Ohio State, whose defense is far less superior than the Trojan's.

                                Big 12 > Pac 10
                                Texas Tech > OSU

Therefore, Texas should be ranked higher than USC.
