In either case, I heard about Ueno's plans for a while. It's Toyota powered though if I'm not mistaken. Looks sick nonetheless. I <3 that LeMans kit.

correct. 2j powered. he blew up the stock engine and decided to run what he knew worked from what i heard.

huge fucking wings are useful for high speed stages where the entry speed can be upwards of 120mph, which one does hit at Fuji Speedway's D1 configuration

I love drifting I just don't see the need for a big ol wing. But I guess it would help a little with the reasons 92 said.

                    yessir.....;)

why not. 2j can handle 700wheel with no internal mods. and a fraction of the price to replace than the 335 engine. no factory bmw ride here...

                      M50B25´s do 550whp standard.
Can´t see the need for 150wph more when you get a cheap ass M50 from anywhere.

And that´s not even talking about the "S50" in the US.

agreed. but his last car was a soarer/sc300 with a built 2jz. he knows the motor well. and whats needs to be done to get the job done. japanese have been swaping out bmw motors for random jap motors for awhile. im not suprised. i think its cool regardless what motor he has. first new bmw to hit the drift scene.

It's a good point, but aftermarket for those motors is very tough there. And since everything for their motors (which arent bad) is VERY cheap and accessible... it's easier to have a jap motor in there.

They do beat the shit out of the engine. 2JZ's are cheaper then a factory 335 engine by an insane amount, so I guess it makes sense.

But there is something about those tires and bumpers.
