kinda....but not at the same time. drifting without "style" and it would just turn into another spec car bs series like nascar. but to anyone who complains about these guys having big wings and claiming there useless. watch a couple d1 videos and tell me you still feel the same. 100+mph entries warrants a wing sometimes. ever watched a euro drift vid with there pretty much stock cars and bad styling? boring, lame and usually gets turned off in the first 20sec. lol

in the end, talent is talent. just depends on how or what people apply it to. entering into a corner at speeds between 60-100mph and tossing the car sideways doesnt really sound the a sport just for looks to me......lol

And as far as it being 'just for looks', that doesnt imply that there is no talent or skill involved. Diving, Gymnastics, and a plethora of other olympic sports are based on subjective scoring yet no one would question the amount of skill or talent involved. Drifting falls into that category. Yes it requires skill, but a huge part of it is looks. Green rims and loud bodykits do NOT help the cars perform better.

To ME, maybe its just ME but the twin turbo engine is what makes the 335i the 335i otherwise what makes it any different from the 328? To me its a e92 3 series with a 2jz swap. In order for it to be a 335i it would need the 335i's engine would it not? You can switch out of defense mode now.

In retrospect, there is no point in arguing. I have my opinion, which I am entitled to, and you have yours. We can agree to disagree. All in all its nice to see BMW (shells) entering different forms of motorsport. That's a win for any BMW enthusiast whether you like drifting or not.
