I went to school today, which is great! Obama is taking a step in the right direction by decreasing spending on munitions and increasing spending on schools to benefit us youngins!!!!

Which I guess is why all my classes were cut so we could watch the inauguration. Which I guess is why my anatomy test was cancelled, and why nobody assigned homework over the weekend, or for tomorrow.

Obama is in office, which means that I don't need to do homework, or take tests, or have classes. He's in office now, AP classes can wait, and just cram even more into the already impossible daily syllabus; its for my benefit.

And don't try to question the decision to cut classes today because he is the first black president, so the world should stop for him. I thought Dr. King Jr. gave his life to the argument that the color of someone's skin shouldn't necessitate special behavior because racism is immoral?

I guess I'm wrong, racism should be perpetuated by acknowledging every instance in which people who are non-white obtain "equality" by being singled out based on their skin color.

Obama is a black man in a white man's suit today, and he will give better educations to the students of America; let's not go to school, let's not do homework, let's make AP classes even more difficult for the students who are self-driven (the ones that don't need our help anyway); because it's all about equality.

She said it was her first time, meaning that from that point on was her "first"
time. She should have been proud her entire life that she was able to climb the ranks and hold such jobs as she does. That lady was pulling in 300k+ for being a board member of a hospital. I would be so thankful every day that I had the opportunity to move up in life and be thankful that the country I lived in allowed me to do so.

I can't believe there's still so much division. Even if Mccain had one, I would've been able to look forward and support the President in order to get our country back on track. How is it racist to acknowledge the fact that in a country where blacks were once treated worst than dirt, one has now obtained the highest office in the land? This is the epitome on Martin Luther King's dream, that all people be accepted, and Obama being accepted as President and is a major stepping stone for people all over the world. And no, Obama didn't cancel my classes, and it's not like missing a day is going to cause the apocalypse... nice way to twist things(not).

The majority have oppressed minorities for centuries, yet now the majority have voted for a minority to be their leader. If you can't see the significance of that, then you simply lack any empathy whatsoever...

I dont know about you guys, but I'm ready to move forward and try to make the best of our situation instead of sitting around complaining. If you truly cared about America, you would do the same.

I was lucky to be born here, but simply because it happened by chance, I should be required to be proud of it? Should I be proud that I was born at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital too?
