So because they lost, hes done? He got them up by 3 points, and the defense couldnt hold. It had NOTHING to do with Warner. If he doesnt come back next year, AZ doesnt make the playoffs. Tom Brady needs to call it quits then, because he lost the big game last year. Every QB who didnt get this far needs to call it quits also.

The Cards "D" lost this game, not Warner.

Yeah, he was at 143 in the 3rd Quarter and brought his team back from a double digit deficit and put his team ahead and in prime position to win but the Cards D gave up a huge play inside a minute left that should never happen in that situation.

And you conveniently failed to mention the 112.25 QB rating put up against the #1 Defense in the league and the 3 passing TD's.

I would take Warner in a big game over just about any QB in the game right now.

The Cards are a below average team. Warner is the only reason they came within a 60 seconds of winning the SB

I haven't looked up the QB ratings for each game against Pittsburgh, but opposing QB's in the regular season had a 63.4 QB rating, throwing for just 12 TD's and 20 INT's in 16 games, completing just 56.5% of their passes for an average of 5.37 yards per attempt.

Contrast that to the numbers that Warner put up tonight - 112.25 QB rating, 3 TD's and 1 INT, completed 72% of his passes (31/43) and averaged 8.77 yards per attempt.

Warner washed up? I bet the Vikings are calling him right now, along with about 20 other teams...

Amazing game.

I of course wanted the Cards to win, but a team under new leadership after only 2 years gets to the big game, that is awesome. Naysayers say all you want, it was a great game we competed against one hell of a defense. Sure just a few more stops with our defense and we could have done it, but I'm still proud of what this team has achieved. We will be back sooner rather than later.
