How do I turn up the volume on my ipod ? I only run it in my car. I want it past the set earplug volume level. Thanks- lazy Steve

the maximum earplug volume level is the maximum gain on the iPod. You're going to need to amplify the signal.

Also I hear that the iPod's preamp is pretty bad when turned up... Get a proper amp.

Indeed. There is a world of difference when turning up the sound via the iPod and turning up the sound using the volume knob in the car.
