Hm, I went through MEPS more than a year ago.

Nobody said shit to me, then again I had United States Marine Corp on my nametag.

that training is hard as shit. remember, it's physically tough, but overall it's a complete mind game. don't get hurt in training, and always remember that they are just trying to get you to quit.

a good buddy of mine was a team lead in CCT school. his team dropped a log on his leg midway through the training. he continued on even though his knee was the size of a grapefruit. Right before he went to jump school, the med board x-rayed his knee, and disqualified him.

Once you get put in the med flight, your moral tanks, and it's just a matter of time before you give up.

      so don't get hurt!

that AFSC has about a 85% washout rate.

Hell, in my networking AFSC, 5 people failed out of a 13 person class. Its cause they played WoW like the fucking queers that they were. I was doing better things, like hacking the wireless network in the Marine/Navy dorm, bwahahaa. Stupid Jarheads.

Haha thanks for the support. Not one of the guys who gives me shit for thinking I can do Special Forces. If I wash out I always have Intel to fall back on.

What did they say you had to score for intel? I think I scored either an 89 or 91, and they told me I could pick any job on the list.

70 was the highest. But it's all dependent on what they need

Combat Control is one part of Special Forces for the Air Force. They are the guys that drop into a combat zone, secure a perimeter, and construct a makeshift airstrip. I believe they are also FAA qualified air traffic controllers.

Sorry to tingle your sensitive "must be right" nerve.
I was merely wrong. I had them confused with a different unit.

Thanks bro. I'm excited as hell and leaving for boot camp on March 24. Good luck with the special forces training and keep us updated on it.

Yeah, id like to hear more about their training. I saw one portion where these kids were doing 1000 flutter kicks (3 count), while wearing a dive mask filled with water.

                          Ouch.
