It escapes me why one would compromise safety, fit, and long term comfort for looks. :kookoo:

But hey, if you want to look like some sort of Star Wars fanboy, go for it.

I just saw that helmet and it got me thinking about my need/want for a new better helmet. Come on, everyone here is going to act like they don't give a shit what there helmet looks like? "The pink rainbow fagass edition helmet is the best helmet out so of course I'm going to buy that one". People are quick to say "You're fucking stupid" but don't give any advice on a helmet they actually like. I totally agree with what you guys are telling me and would I likely actually wear that helmet, no, but it dead peak my interest. It getting nicer out and I want to be ready to ride.....safely.

There's plenty of quality helmets out there so I can afford to pick one I like the looks of. I'll probably just buy some all black helmet since most of the helmets are too flashy to go with my bike.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

No one said they didn't care what their gear looks like, they were saying not to sacrifice safety for style. I really like my KBC VR-2 Stealth, DOT/SNELL approved, comfy for the long rides, and I think looks killer:

              I did Gaylord.

Any Shoei or Arai helmet. AGV, Suomy and Shark make nice stuff too, and all of them make solid non-flashy designs. HJC is a good budget choice, but the visors aren't as scratch resistant, heavier, don't vent as well, and aren't as nice as upper end helmets. My AGV TiTech has an all velour (sp?) inside, very, very nice.

However, I would go with white, or similiarly "bright" color, over black. You want to be as visible as possible. I wore a bright blue and white jacket and a bright Yellow Rossi Rep AGV TiTech for a long time.

The the Shoei X-11 most comfortable helmet I've ever tried on and much lighter than my TiTech.

I think it's one of the ugliest helmets I may hae ever seen. But I'm not a Harley type of guy.

I have a Simpson helmet and even though the stig wears one, Simpson helmets = FAIL

I like the looks of some of them, but the finishing details and quality of their products just isn't up to par with someone like Shoei or Arai.

Thanks for the help guys. Sorry I kinda reacted like a bitch. Outside shit coming onto the forum. Venting through here instead of placing anger where it should be (GF).

Anywho, isn't that Simpson helmet for driving?

I agree that this Momo helmet actually in fact would like like asssss. I saw it on some people and its horrid. I do still think it looks cool just sitting there. I like it because it looks like a helicopter/fighter jet pilots helmet

Holy shit, $95? I might just get that afterall. The club here doesn't care if it's motorcycle or not, as long as it's DOT approved.
