I love how both candidates beat the word "oversight" like a rented mule, but there is no oversight to be found.

I personally liked McCain's idea of a spending freeze. Spending yourself out of debt and recession is counter-intuitive. Freeze spending, cut taxes, and let the tax multiplier carry us out of this shit.

The new stimulus spending equals all govt spending from the time of the revolutionary war, up to Carter's presidency. I cannot believe anyone who supports this.

Not necessarely true. You can't go to the bank for a mortgage on a new house, and spend the money on strippers. Bank could ask for an immediate refund. Same with the rescue money. GM got it only to save jobs in the US. The same way Obama's office is requiring to limit companies' presidents' salaries to a ceiling as a condition to receive a loan...

While you have a valid point you can take out 12k in student loans and blow it on hookers and blow if you wish. Oh and by the way Obama can say all he wants they cant limit CEO's pay. They can attach strings to new hand outs, that may have that as a contingency but its still not allowed by current interpretation of the US Constitution .
