If he's such a tool, just avoid him. Having us confirm that he's lying isn't going to help you "pwn" him, people like that will never learn and never accept defeat. Just move on.

140 does sound pretty doable to me. The Magnum's not a bad car, it's just not an E30 :) My first car was a '97 Intrepid with an early version of that motor, and it did alright, although I think it was governed to about 108 mph.

I don't really give to much stock to people who tell me how fast they've driven, how fast they took a corner, or what mpg they got. 1) car instrumentation really isn't that accurate 2) people who like to brag about anything aren't that accurate (both in their ability to observe their gauges and their ability to recall that information accurately).

these things are not fast. the hemi version does about a 15.2-15.5 1/4 mile with an average driver. you could take them in a stock E30 325is with a good driver and decent street tires.

              1. www.google.com
              2. dodge magnum top speed

Even if he could hit 132, I don't see how he would have made turn 1 since that boat must have slowed way down to make the turn before the straightaway he would have ran out of braking room before the turn; his brakes would be smoking by the time he finished that first lap.

I already stated the top speed in the first post. It's 140. But Yeah, he is quite annoying and we will see how difficult it will be to just push down the pedal on the new 6 series. It's an automatic FTL.

Trust me on this: Look the fucker right in they eye and ask why he has to lie.

Tell him you like him well enough until he starts on they whole lying thing, then back it up.

Walk the fuck away if you have to. Find better friends.

No one really knows anything about cars. Some know more then others but that's like being tall for a midget.

Hahaha. True true. I just don't understand why he doesn't want to learn how to drive a stick. He is 19 and has never tried, nor driven one.

Well I don't really want to learn to play the clarinet, so there.

Actually that's a lie, if I had the time available I probably would give it a shot just to see what it's like.

I went from trumpet to clarinet, the trumpet is much more exciting. I had to buy a new reed almost every week when I played clarinet.
