Chickenhawk. Robert Mason's memoir of his 6 month tour in Vietnam as a Huey pilot. such an amazing book, i would recommend it to everyone. I have always been fascinated with Vietnam because my grandfather served two tours, but never told me a word about it. It's interesting to read about Vietnam from the perspective of a helicopter pilot, and I just ordered the book "If I die in a combat zone: box me up and ship me home" to learn about it from another perspective. Just like to add, thank you for your service to anyone serving in the military on this forum.Leave a comment:

Great series, I've read practically all his books. His King Arthur series is really good too I would recommend it.
The Sharpe series is something like 20 books about the British empire and the Napoleon wars in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Pretty easy reading maybe not all that intellectual but good gore and battle descriptions.Leave a comment:

Tucker Max has a new book out called "Assholes Finish First". I read the first one and laughed my ass off and had time to read a chapter out of this one, it looks just as good.
Anybody reading it?Leave a comment:

Definitely! I read it twice in high-school, (2 times my junior year). Now, almost 4 years later, I'm going to start it again. (Ironically going into my junior year of college).Leave a comment:
