Just about finished with the Bourne Identity. Honestly, I didn't really like it. Maybe it's because it was published in 1975, but it's very dry and drawn out and just kind of boring. I love the movies, but they are nothing like the book.

ZAMM is an excellent read, one of my favorite books. Lila, Pirsig's continuation of his delve into "Quality", is on the shelf; I plan to read it over the holidays.

Someday I will read the Dark Tower series since I have hears so much about it.

Great series. They took me the better part of 2 years to get through, but they were fantastic.

I've found that when you're reading a super long series like that, as soon as you get tired of reading the books, take a break. Read something by another author, or just a break from reading in general haha. You'll enjoy the books that much more when you're voraciously waiting for the chance to read the next chapter :D

Did this with both the Game of Thrones books and these, and it worked out well.

Exemplifies a natural approach to writing, easy to get engrossed and zoom through it in no time. Basically, read anything by H.L. Mencken and prepare to be delighted.

Just finished the last two books in the Ender's Game main series (Xenocide, Children of the Mind). I read the first one for a high school English class in 2002, then around 2006 I found the book and re-read it in college. Read Speaker for the Dead shortly after, and decided to finish the last two in the past couple of weeks. Great reads, if anything I can appreciate them a lot more being a bit older and married since they are basically all about the relationships between characters. I may pick up some of the other books that focus on the other characters. I was actually sad when I was done with the main series since it really sucks you into the characters' lives and I wanted to keep reading.

Most of the books that I have read in the last few years have been science-related. Feynmann's QED was a really interesting read, and Schrodinger's Rabbit was another one that put quantum theory into layperson terms that I could understand. Feynmann's The Pleasure of Finding Things Out was a very good read and gave some neat perspective on life, and Faster Than The Speed of Light was interesting and entertaining at the same time (contained f-bombs lol).

yeah it's definitely making me think about somethings that haven't really occurred to me before... bit of a slow read still, but I'm loving it.

Started a book about the birth of smokjumping, Two-Man Stick, happens to have been written by my great uncle.
