I'm not going to watch the video, but that really blows. Definitely a tragedy to the motoX world, for sure.

Don't watch it, It's like how I was the only happy kid at the sleepover in 5th grade cuz I was not willing to sit with everyone while the older brother put on a Faces of Death video. I still, to this day think I'd be a different person had I watched it.

Oh my god, we used to have those in the back with the porn at the video store I worked at. We would warn people as much as possible, but they never listened. Even the most toughguy bros would ignore our warnings.

But sure enough, they came back the next day looking like they'd just seen their grandmothers raped by Satan. We just shook our heads.

Still to this day. I have not even looked for internet videos of that stuff, it really gets to me. I'll be torn up for days. I recall about 15 years ago, there was a Police pursuit thing on the LA freeways, and this guy decided that it was over. His insurance Co would not cover his medical bills, so he parked on an overpass, blocked traffic. Then he blew the truck (with his dog and 5 5gal cans o gas) up, on live TV. Now, he was in the car, he caught fire, jumped out, tore off his pants, and was running around nekkid. Then he attempted to jump off the bridge, then he walked to the bed of the truck, grabbed his shotgun, tucked it into the wall/road surface transition, then pulled the trigger. His skull cap went flying, and the news choppers were all zoomed in. My little brother had nightmares, and could not sleep right for weeks.

I almost think it's important to see those kinds of things.

I think I can live my life without, and when those horrific things really do happen I will give it/them the respect they deserve.

And PSLoan, I'll assume you never worked in a trauma center/ER. I had to quit the career because I'm too sensitive to seeing people in such unfortunate situations. I know you do ppw.

I watched the video the other day, before he died, and didn't think anything of it. Then I found out he died, watched it again, and it put a whole new perspective on it when he was laying there motionless. Very sad. RIP

                      PPW?

I've never worked in the ER - but I do work for a very large hospital system. I've seen the typical line of linen covered stretchers on a monday morning waiting for the examiner. I've got enough time in the ER to know what you're talking about, though.

ppw = paperwork. I do know you work in the system, but the face to face crys for you to save someone in their death throes is something different. Or, your first night in the ER, having a set of nurses doubleteam you (because you slept with their co-workers GF) by first ramming your gloved fist into the back of someones skull after suicide with a .357, then 20 min later, having another drag you to a room to push on a 5 y/o boy's face with stage four laforte fractures from being hit by a car at 50mph. Think jello mold.

                          ^^^Sounds shitty.

My wife is doing clinicals at Texas Children's Pediatric ER next week. She cries when se sees roadkill. Should be interesting.

He landed right on his head.

I'm surprised this hasn't already happened to many more of them.

I feel the same way. The video was fucked up. And if you look through some of the other videos, he went down the same way, on the same trick in 2007.. Just rotated a little more and wasn't hurt badly. I'll be he knew he was fucked as soon as he got upside down.
