i only play mw2 because my friends do (it sucks compared to previous cod titles)

i will be playing cod:black ops when it comes out though, looks fun as hell with more balanced game play. (killstreaks toned down from mw2)

yeah, most of the time i spend gaming is cod4 on my PC. there is still a big community there because the later cod games were bad and didnt draw the players away.

Take away dedicated servers from a PC game and you're going to have problems, hopefully they return for the newest installment. I MIGHT pick it up.

they are! they are only allowing the servers be purchased from a specific host, but for the average player, that doesnt matter. the only downside is that its going to be Steam based, with VAC for anti-cheat (which is far inferior to punk buster).

Holy shit that's terrible. Why must they fuck everything up. Seriously I just don't get it, oh wait I do its all bout teh monies these days. I haven't played a game with substance in probably the past 4 years.

I just picked up F1 2010 and the cars aren't even running real lap times they are all just rolling roadblocks and put up fake laptimes. Some how the cars running right in front of me are going around the track 10 seconds quicker or slower. Does anyone give a shit about making a decent game anymore?

i think you missed it. they are allowing dedicated servers (through Steam), so good connection quality will return to cod.

Yes, but only on one server provider, meaning you will have to purchase your own server through whomever they choose and only them. That's BS.
