My mom is taking a flight to Hungary tomorrow. This has gotten her all spooked up. Flying is statistically the safest way to travel, but I don´t think the families of the deceased are going to agree with that.

These crashes should only reassure her even more. The chances of 3 major crashes happening in such a short time period are very low. The chances of a fourth happening are damn near impossible.

I agree but with all these crashes lately, one can´t help thinking about it. If I was more pessimistic about it,I would say "accidents never come alone".
Anyways, I´ll have to cheer her up today, just so that she won´t be too nervous tomorrow.

            What's that one saying?
Bad things always happen in threes? If that's true, then we should be good for awhile.

It's like someone said in one of the other threads, it seems like this is "fate's" way of trying to even out the statistics after the brilliant piloting that saved everyone in the Hudson crash.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Plane crashes are definetly more common this year. We're at what, 3 now?

Could have been worse though but R.I.P

Flying is quite safe as long as you stay out of New York...

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.
