Well yes I do have friends, but I consider you guys to be "friends" in a way and believe it or not I value a lot of what you guys have to say. Its good to get a bunch of different peoples opinions. My GF surely sounds like a whack job from what I wrote but she is a good girl. She wanted me to live with her rent free. All I'd be paying for is my portion of the food. It sounds good but as a man I feel a sense of shame not providing for a woman I love. Also there was fear in moving in with her, I was afraid it would ruin or relationship....yeah that worked out real well.
While we were breaking up..on the PHONE (gay) she explained to me how I wasn't being a real man because I don't have a real job while I'm attending college and she does. OK lets see, I'll be getting my Bachelors degree after 5 more classes and I still make descent money off Craigslist/eBay as well as working randomly for a guy I know. I also have a settlement coming my way for a good chunk of money this month. I don't want a REAL job while I'm in college and frankly don't need one, which in her mind is a strike against me because I'm more well off than her and my family helps me out. She sees this as a weakness. Should I not except grants and help from others so I can struggle more? I don't think so.
She also brought up this "What do you do when your not in school or randomly working? What watch TV (not really) sell stuff on the internet and do stuff with cars (this site she thinks is gay and won't allow me to go on it if I'm around her to check my PM's)". She said that those should be hobbies and I should get a job. Ok yeah they're hobbies and they make me money, isn't that a good thing? I will get/try to get a job when as soon as I have my degree. I'm excited about it. Why do I have to get a fuckign job right now?
Oh then she brought up some fucking guy and compared me to him and talked about how he is in school too and blah blah and he "works his ass off at Costco and brings in big checks and he's going to play professional basketball in Australia maybe and he asks me out all the time". FUCKING SWWEEET you bitch. That is the one thing she said that made me made. I said "wow he sounds awesome. Pro Aussie bball player. Sounds like you talk to him alot". Her, "ummm no, not really, it doesn't take much to tell something that. Basically he just said blah blah blah".....don't even want to think abou that shit.

I don't know. Oh she also gets pissed because I don't need to study or work hard in school to get good grades usually. Sorry....ummm what do you want me to do? Fake it? Lie about studying? Sorry you have to make 100000 notes cards and stay up every night or something.

give her 24 hours before you say something you may regret. This is probably as stressfull on her as it is you. If she asked you to move in, she can't be too keen on breaking up with you. She is crazy, all of them are. Take a deep breath and see if she calls to apoligize. If she doesn't send her some flowers and let her know you love her but you will deal with her decision. Even though you don't want to.

This is really the best advice here. All women are crazy. Sure you can forget about this one, but you've spent time to build a relationship with her and you say you love her. Any other chick you date is going to act just as irrational, especially if shes on her period. Do what delatlanta says. She can say whatever she wants about your lack of a steady job, your hobbies, etc. All you gotta do is say "yes honey" and "I love you honey" and "you look sexy today baby" and continue on how you were. IMO, when women start getting near their mid-20s and up, their friends start getting married, having kids and starting lives and they want the same thing. When they were younger, they had no plan to settle down and so they didn't care if the guy they were dating was serious.

Now, the fact that you spend most of your time fucking around with your car and posting gun shit on the intraweb, makes you not the most likely guy to want to settle down. She tried getting you to move in with her in the hopes that you would become more serious. Your resistance showed her that you were not in the same place as her.

Most likely you will find out that she's married within two years to some jerk. I would just be glad that it was someone else.

Personally, I got married for the first time when I was 36 years old to a woman that was 8 1/2 years younger (younger women like older men). I would encourage all of you to follow my lead. I fucked around and got drunk with little to no responsibilities for a considerable portion of my life. While I was getting high and living by the beach, my friends were grinding out 55+ hour work weeks so that they could come home to ungrateful wives, big bills and annoying kids.

On a side note, a long time ago I had this fat friend with a serious gambling problem. Somehow, he was dating this super-hot chick that was pressuring him to get married. He put her off for a couple years until she dumped him. He has never been with another attractive girl since.

As I was reading your story, I knew that there was something not quite right about all of this...and then you mention the Costco/Aussie guy....now it all makes perfect sense. Fact of the matter is, she has found someone else she is interested in-and they have probably been talking a lot longer than you care to know about.
