yeah. its true, 240sx owners do like e30s...haha. I think the drifter scene is getting into them because they are a good platform thats different from the norm of 240sx and AE86. Since we dont have all the awesome RWD cars japan has we have to work with what we have here.
Now look, I am not evil. My loan officer said so.

So JDM kids are buying up E30's? I should really invest in some Volvo lips and high beam delete setups, I'd be a fucking millionaire faster than you could say "Cat in the Hat."

Don't listen to any of the haters. They're just mad because the "drop & iS lip" crowd doesn't approve of anything outside their field of vision.

I've always had a big soft spot for TRUE JDM styling, the OEM+ style, not the shit most of these ricer fucks try to pass off as JDM. True JDM clean styling is really, really nice, when done in conjunction with good lowering and wheels. And I also like the look of JDM-styled E30's. They take on the look very well. It's cool when your car gets the nod from guys outside the BMW scene.

And if I'm not mistaken, SteinbachPhoto (or whatever his name is) actually has an actual JDM E30.

Most car guys appreciate a good looking car when they see one, no matter who made it.

This excludes ricey boner riders and muscle car dudes who think you need 40 litres for 400 HP.

I love a few of my friends JDM civics and integras (true JDM), and they all love nice e30s.

JDM and Euro styling really aren't that different from each other.

i saw a few honda guys in austria and germany with some bbs rm wheels and lowered cars nearly to the floor... actually it looks good with minor modifications. "stock look, lower, wheels" <-- works on every car

but i think that idea came from the usa... and maybe some us guys saw that style on E30s  so who knows ...maybe its our fault that the "retro style" is becoming popular again for the jdm crowd (or maybe even the ricers)

(sry for my english, knowing 3 languages isn't always that easy)

It's preety much the same concept. We want parts not available to us models, so do they. Some of the more common wheels used on e30s are also used on hondas. I was a JDM guy but the e30 grew on me and never did get that s14.

I'm sorry for being and ignorant douche but how the fuck does a JDM E30 even exist? Japanese Domestic Market, keyword, Japanese.

Or is it perhaps cuz they were assembled in Japan?

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

This statement is very untrue. I've grown up with muscle cars and still have classic and muscle cars and will continue to have them. But the muscle car guys that i meet and see, like my e30 like it alot. They usually say, that's a BMW? What year is it? What have you done to it? Man i really like that! Then some of them go as far to ask if and when i sell it, to give them the first shot at buying it.

But anyway the JDM crowd around here isn't very large anymore. I think most of them are VW guys now. And i usually get a thumbs up or a wave from them when going down the road.
