This crazy thing happens between late October and early May, suddenly temperatures drop and all of the leaves fall off of the trees. It's pretty radical, the locals like to call it "winter."

What is this "winter" you speak of? I do not experience that in my beautiful community along the beach.

i find it comforting to look out my windows and not see a crack house across the street and the gutters littered with rock pipes and syringes. whats it like to not be able to let your kids play in your own yard for fear of some rock head may snatch them and try to trade them for a 20 pack?
