What are you using for wifi diag?

Haha, I got a new iPhone 2 days ago. They tried to replace the screen in mine and it stopped working altogether, so they gave me a new one.

They also told me AT&T's "refurb" is not necessarily a refurb, just a used phone. The one I got as a replacement from Apple was refurbished by them, or possibly even brand new.

I'll be very happy as long as it continues to work! I got the ZAGG Invisible Shield on the way, and am picking up some sort of black rubber case for it, hopefully the phone will last a while.

There sure are some sweet apps. The level, shazam, pandora, flixster, reqall, yelp, and of course ishoot!

thats what i have, except i got the day after it came out. i didn't want the white, but it was all they had. now i can't see having a black one. i think the white cover is more receptive to scratches (meaning it shows them less).

I got white cuz I'm a white whore (not literally)... Alpine white E30, my R6 is soon to be white, and now a matching white iPhone. Although I plan to get a nice case for it, so that kinda defeats the purpose. But yeah, I'm diggin it so far, and I haven't even popped my SIM in it.

Picked up a wifi signal in my office and am thoroughly impressed with the Youtube capabilities of this phone in comparison to my Curve. But that's not a fair comparison because the Curve was never designed to stream video like that. But I really am impressed with the device so far. And typing doesn't really seem as annoying as I thought it'd be, then again, it may just be the money I spent on it teaching me to like it.

Any downsides to jailbreaking an iPhone, such as loss of certain functions or any other issues?

Not that I heard of. Some people who do not (somehow) jailbreak it properly, you might need to start again from scratch by restoring the iPhone on iTunes.

The beauty of it is that anything you do can be undone. And then if you use apps such as Aptbackup, which backs up all your apps (hacked or not) on iTunes, you're golden.

Every time a new update comes out for the iPhone all I need to do is update it, jail break it again, and just restore aptbackup. Voila... all my apps are back again.
