The job market is indeed fucked, especially in Southern California. Not even McDonalds called me.
My uncle is a career Marine. He just made Chief Warrant Officer 2.

I have a feeling that just by losing that much weight your entire perspective on life will totally change. It wouldn't surprise me if when you finally lose all the weight, you end up doing something else. Don't close-off all possibilities of something else.
But I do support your decision in going to the Marines, it's something I've always wanted to do, but took the school route. The Red Dragon V.5 1991 318iS / 2013 F800GT

Most of you guys don't have a clue how depressing of a place Chico, CA is. I can't imagine what if would be like to be there, with out a job, or even a prospect of a job. So, lighten up a bit :)
I was thinking the same thing as Spiff325iS - Set a goal, say 9 month to drop the weight, and get your shit together.
You know that "friend of the family" of yours, they guy everyone says is "really smart", or maybe he owns his own business, maybe he has a big house you like, or a cool shop you would like to someday own - you need to get that guys phone number, and ask him out for a cup of coffee. Just call him up and say "hey, I'm so and so, I know you through _____. I really admire what you are doing, and I was wondering if I could buy you a cup of coffee - I'd really like to learn what you did to get to where you are today"
And don't worry about the guy saying no. Most likely it will be the greatest compliment he had received all month.
Just my 2 cents.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?

How about.... Since you dont work, get off your ass and go jogging? Theres no reason NOT to get into shape, since you have no other commitments. Losing 100 lbs is not an easy task. That shit is going to take you a good year of busting ass, assuming you dont fall back into old lazy habits, and poor eating habits. Its possible, but THAT will be your biggest life style change.
- Jog (Walk when you cant jog, then start jogging again, no shame in that)
- Drink at least 64 oz of water a day (1 gallon preferably). You probably mistake being hungry with actually being thirsty.
- Some sort of Lipothermic Energy Nutrient/fat burners. Hydroxycut Hardcore along with Carnitine (its just an amino acid) pills are my preference.
- Low Carbs (No carbs if you can stick to it)
Theres a lot more to it, but it's a startOriginally posted by blunti would jerk larry king off while tonging jflips ass if h0lmes would blow his head off

Do you have an idea of how you're going to get in shape? I started walking (like, uphill, 5k or so a day) recently and am amazed at how much healthier I feel already.Originally posted by jflip2002 View PostHow about.... Walk in the morning. It gets your metabolism sped up, so you burn more calories throughout the day. Use that Zantrex 3 to get your body used to fat burners. Then step up to Hydroxycut hardcore or Lipo 6x. Thats a good start, though. A lot of healthy food is better than a little bad food (obviously).Originally posted by blunti would jerk larry king off while tonging jflips ass if h0lmes would blow his head off
